If you received an appraisal notice the protest form is included and your deadline will be listed on the notice. If you did not receive a notice the deadline for submitting a protest is May 17th.

Our office is open with our regular business hours, but with LIMITED ACCESS.  To maintain social distancing we have reduced the number of people in the lobby at a time. To reduce wait times, please telephone, email, mail, or take advantage of the “contact us” option and electronic payment options on this website.  Our Burnet location has a drop box for payments a receipt will be mailed to you.

Burnet Central Appraisal District is responsible for appraising all real and business personal property within Burnet County. The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).
